The last time I saw Josh (as he’s asked to be called), was at the Book Exchange on Gordon Highway, while he was on their Halloween con panel, which is possibly the best place to see Josh’s explosive personality at its fullest. Not only is he a great comic artist, but is also very passionate about the field. Let’s just say, I added some great comics to my collection thanks to him. Creases took some time to sit with him and ask a few questions to help you, the viewer, get a bit of insight on this artist.
Who are you and what super powers do you posses?
I'm a local cartoonists and comics artist. I guess my superpower is being optimistic while living the hermitage that is an artist's life

Can you tell us about who, or what inspired you to draw?
I was a big Manga-head when I was little so Dragon Ball Z's Akira Toriyama loomed big on my childhood. When I hit my teens, Ultimate Spider-Man's Stuart Immonen became my jam. He had such a kinetic style that eased me in from manga to superhero books.

| Who is your favorite super villain and would you help or destroy them? I'd have to say the Green Goblin. He's just so full of singularly focused hate. There's a real danger there. You get the feeling that if the Goblin can finish off Spidey he will do so in a heart-beat and go about his life. He'd have to be stopped! What comic series does everyone need to go out and get right now!? Since we're going superhero themed, I'd say the new Ms Marvel series by G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona. It's a great young superhero story in the vein of Spider-Man, with beautiful colors by Ian Herring. |  |

It’s the end of the world, how would you use your superpowers to either save, or destroy it?
Ehh, I can't really save it but I can teach people to make comics, they'll all eventually become hermits. At least it can't be worse!
