Full disclosure, Jason has been involved with this here zine from the beginning, but Augusta is seeing more of his work lately than ever, and we wanted you to know what kind of artists we’re dealing with here. If you’ve been to the Book Tavern or New Moon, you might have seen his work either hung, sat, or about where you are. Now he’s moving up in our local art world and we couldn’t be happier to see him gaining the recognition he deserves. |

What's your favorite food for thought? All of the foods, except for ones that give you dysentery, and all of the thoughts, except for racist, sexist, and homophobic ones. What projects are you working on and excited about the most? One, I just started selling and releasing issues of No Funnies, in the same zine form that Creases comes in, for only 99 cents! I've also set up subscriptions, and it's all accessible through the No Funnies fanpage on Facebook. |

What around the scene has provided the most inspiration to you?
Peter Stitt's recent photography exhibits at 1155 have invoked a spontaneous overflow of powerful emotion in me.
Death Star's reunion show at Soul Bar was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. They channel Can like no other.
Greg Elias' release of the "Secret Guest" record on Academia Tapes (Charleston, SC), along with all of Greg Islands' records on the same label, have all blown me away.

How would you describe your comics? My comics tend to be literary criticism that disguises itself as low brow humor in order to make the high brow more accessible and entertaining. Who’d win in a fight, TMNT vs Battletoads? How do you see it going down? Hahaha! Trick question, you mystery jerk. TMNT and Battletoads would never fight because that would violate the rules of the bro code that they all aspire towards. |
BUT! What if the Battletoads became evil because a villain had warped their brains with an evil ray and the TMNT Team had to take them down before they destroy the world???
The answer to that question is Adams Mitchell, the mystery jerk himself, needs to write a short story about Battletoads fighting Ninja Turtles and release it in Creases.
He's probably too lazy to anything like that.
Besides, the right answer is Casey Jones, it's always Casey Jones.
