Diversity and creativity are the pillars of our great scene here in Augusta and they manifest themselves in the ever-increasing array of unique local artists. cello, Rob Cox on guitar and vocals and multi-instrumentalist James Grant. Together they stack chords to the ceiling and seamlessly transition between honeyed melodies and dissonant charges to the dark depths of one’s id. They invoke motifs from Dante’s Inferno and apply them to modern life. After listening to their lo-fi tracks on Soundcloud, it all makes sense. Life does not use auto-tune or noise reduction. Life is real. Oh, Pilgrim is real.
